KSI 801-WMBB, 801-WMBB-FR Series 4

The KSI Series IV 801-WMBB is the wall mount companion to our popular 8081- CS. It is designed for clean mounting in drywall and other flat substrates. It’s a perfect choice for corporate, government, retail and any installation demanding superb sound quality with pleasing architectural appearance.

The 801-WMBB offers smooth midrange performance with powerful bass response through the use of our 8” bass-mid transducer and 10” optimally tuned passive radiator. Our 8” transducer provides superb voice reproduction for greatly improved intelligibility not found in competitive loudspeakers. Coupling this to our 1” pure titanium dome tweeter yields a loudspeaker with outstanding clarity and coherence along with wide frequency response and moderate power capacity. The backbox is designed to mount into a 2×6 wall cavity on 16” centers prior to the drywall installation. The drywall installer simply trims out the backbox opening as with any light fixture or outlet. After painting and finishing the drywall, the 801-WMBB baffle is reinstalled into the opening to complete the job.

All KSI ceiling and wall mount loudspeakers may be used in combination with the 801-WMBB, providing unlimited solutions for your audio environment. The 801-WMBB is available with its backbox fabricated from Duraflake fire rated particle board by ordering part number 801-WMBB-FR.  The baffle which in manufactured from 9 ply Baltic Birch and is not fire retardant.
