The KSI Series IV 6061-CS ceiling mount loudspeaker is a smaller version of our popular 8081-CS loudspeaker. The 6061-CS is only 3-3/4” deep making it a good choice for ceilings with limited space, and it’s right at home in any installation demanding superb sound quality with pleasing architectural appearance.

 

The 6061-CS offers smooth mid-range performance with powerful bass response through the use of our 6-1/2” bass-mid transducer and 8” optimally tuned passive radiator. Our 6-1/2” transducer features a paper laminated cone with a large 1-1/2” edgewound voice coil and a vented magnet structure. This transducer renders exceptional voice reproduction for greatly improved intelligibility. The addition of our 1” pure titanium dome tweeter gives the 6061-CS outstanding clarity and coherence along with wide frequency response and wide dynamic range. The use of high quality filter components assures a smooth transition at the crossover frequency. To further enhance the low frequency and mid-range reproduction of the 6061-CS, the backbox employs our anti-resonance fabrication. This construction technique utilizes our state of the art CNC machinery to give us an incredibly strong, vibration free and low weight enclosure, greatly improving the sound quality over the entire spectrum. The 6061-CS offers wide and evenly controlled dispersion, outstanding clarity and coherence, with wide frequency response and a 100 watt power capacity. The 6061-CS is fully assembled, making installation fast and simple to save both time and money.
