The KSI Series 5 801-C 2×2 grid ceiling mount loudspeaker is a flat panel loudspeaker designed for mounting in 2×2 grid ceilings. The 801-C features super quick installation, smooth frequency response and pleasing architectural appearance.

 

The 801-C offers smooth mid-range performance with smooth bass response through the use of our 8” bass-mid transducer. Our 8” transducer provides accurate voice reproduction for improved intelligibility not found in competitive loudspeakers. Our 1” fabric dome tweeter gives the 801-C smooth and wide frequency response with moderate power capacity. Since no backbox is employed in the 801-C, the ceiling cavity above acts as the enclosure to baffle the transducers. The rear of the baffle is covered with acoustical dampening material to aid in smoothing the frequency response when used in large ceiling volumes. This makes the 801-C ideal for large distributed systems when a very cost effective and quick to install loudspeaker is desired.

 

All KSI ceiling and wall mount loudspeakers may be used in combination with the 801-C, providing unlimited solutions for your audio environment. The 801-C is available fabricated from Duraflake fire rated particle board by ordering part number 801-C-FR.
