The KSI 6061-CS 2x2 grid ceiling mount loudspeaker is
a smaller version of our popular 8081-CS
loudspeaker. The 6061-CS is only
3-3/4" deep making it a good choice for ceilings with limited
space.
The 6061-CS offers smooth midrange performance with
powerful bass response through the use of our 6.5" bass-mid
transducer and optimally tuned passive radiator. KSI's
6.5" transducer renders exceptional voice reproduction for improved
intelligibility. The addition of our 1" pure titanium dome tweeter
produces exceptionally clean sound reproduction and wide frequency
response with moderate power capacity.
To further enhance the low frequency and midrange reproduction
of the 6061-CS, we have re-engineered the backbox to
feature our anti-resonance fabrication. This construction technique
utilizes our state of the art CNC machinery to give us an incredibly
strong, vibration free and low weight enclosure, greatly improving
the sound quality over the entire spectrum.
